Friday morning I get up at 630am to excited I don't have any thing to do so I make me some coffee and watch a little tv then I got in the tub for about 15 minutes I just could not sit there any longer than that. MOH gets up at 8am and calls me a crackhead Her sister my Makeupartist/hair dresser calls and says she'll be at my house at 930am. My mom called and says that she was on her way to drop my dress off at my house then pick up my son's tie. I will stop here for a moment and tell you my mom was the best wedding coordinator i could have asked for.
Makeupartist/hairdresser arrives on time and proceeds to do my hair, she finished about 12 noon. I ate breakfast pancakes and bacon and of course coffee. MOH gets her hair done, Mom arrives with the dress. Ronnie calls to make sure I'm out the house by 145 so he can get in and get dressed. Cnythia calls to confirm the time to meet at the suite I tell her 2pm so she would be there by 3pm. We head to the suite to check in. The desk clerk was not going to let me check in because the credit card the suite was booked in was my mom's. So I tell the lady my mom is on her way can I just check in and she show the card when she arrives she wanted me to use my debit card but they hold your money for 5-7 business days and I needed all my money for the honeymoon. I get my mom on the phone and by this time I'm almost in tears my mom talks to the lady and when they hang up the lady says ok Ms I'll check you in now. We get up to the suite and hang around take pictures and Cynthia arrived next at 230pm I started feeling hungry again so I go to the lobby in search of food I get a lousy sandwich which I ate half threw the rest in the garbage. At 330 I get my makeup done she did an excellent job I was very pleased with my makeup and hair. My mom and son arrives, mom says she was waiting on my aunts to pick up the stuff to decorate the the hall, but they where running late so she left them, now they had to come to the suite to pick up the stuff from my mom's car.
Photographer arrives and we take pictures, at 415 the limo arrives. This is the moment when It really hit me that I was on my way to get married
We arrive at the Sabre Room at 515 the ceremony starting time was 530pm.
We sit in the limo and watch all the people strolling in. At 530 I'm ready to get out the darn limo but people are still arriving my mom comes out at 535 and asked what time do I want to start because she knows we are tired of sitting in the limo I tell her 545pm. The limo pulls in front of the door and we head to the bridal holding room I tell everyone they look lovely again and we all hug and share a loving moment. Then the music starts instrumental (Ribbon in the sky) for the mothers to enter so the ladies leave me to go line up my hairdresser stays with me so I won't be alone. Then I hear the the
vocalist singing Ribbon in the sky which is what the mothers were suppose to enter on him singing My aunt peeks in the room and says the girls are gone in your next, My mom's comes in next and says they came in on the wrong song I said mom that's ok and what are you doing out your seat lady!! Next I hear the vocalist singing my song I'm holding on so tight to my stepdads arm going up the stairs. I get up to the top and I see how beautiful the room looks and I just start Then I see Ronnie looking at me like WOW!! and I start blushing again. My stepfather gives me away and I'm on the stage checking out everyone else in the crowd, The ceremony with by fast we lit the unity candle as a family Ronnie,me and Ryan I almost cried at that moment but I managed to compose myself the vocalist was singing You and I by Stevie Wonder I looked out at the crowd my mom was just looking at me and all the people at table number 10 where crying I had to look away because If I had started it would have been no stopping. The preacher annouced us husband and wife and Kiss your bride Ronnie did not want to stop kissing me I had to give him a little nudge save some for later After that the party was on and poppin.
Now I will tell you the things that went wrong but it did not effect my day at all I had no clue because my mom the wonderful coordinator kept all problems away from us. 1. They threw my cake topper in the garbage and had to dig through it to find the topper it was wrapped up in tissue paper. 2. Bridal party came in on the wrong song the upside was they came in on the vocalist singing instead of a CD playing and noone had a clue. 3. The Owners of the Sabre Room did not let the decoraters in 2 hrs before hand like they promised ( they will be recieving a nice letter from my mom). 4. 2 folks showed up with unvitied guest the upside 10 people who rsvped where a no show so I did not have to pay for extra plates. Other than that It was a gorgeous sunny day and the best wedding I have ever been to!!!
