I just wanted to say Hello & say a little bit about myself. I'm Mrs.Mac2Be, My finace & I are both in our twenties. We have been together for a couple of years and are really looking forward to getting married! I have noticed that wedding planning is terribly hard and sometimes stressful but we are trying to make it as positive as we can. I really like that there is a site for "chocolate women". Interesting very interesting.

Hope to chat with yall soon!
Adios!

Thanks so much... YAY! Newbies together, lol. Congrats on your upcoming nuptials. And this site really has some interesting ideas and lovely women too. I was browsing (being nosy) some of their repley's and advice and they are wonderful. I am also on The Knot Board and the ladies are nice there too, but it's a different type of love here. I haven't read one mean or "flaming" post or message on this site. Whereas, others do that (not to me personally) and I think it's unecessary. Anywho, how is your planning going?

Thank you!! So far everything is going GREAT! I am just about done. All I'm really doing is making payments to my vendors. I'm having a hard time getting my music together because my bridal party is soooo big. I don't want songs to run out while they're walking down the isle.

How's your planning going?

Hey, raine this is raina welcoming you to the CB Family. I noticed you and I have the same wedding date as well as similar names. I do wish all I was doing was paying my venders. We are still making plans for our wedding. Luckly I found a place that is almost all inclusive.

I've looked at lots of things that I would like to have incorporated into our wedding but no serious plans yet. We havent announced our engagement yet but we will in June after we come back from the bahamas. And the wedding will be next year in June so I don't want to get ahead of myself. The few things I have tried to do like the guest list, was stressful, all the cutting of pple, the guilt and the best part, getting over it and realizing that it is just a day and life goes on past that day. We are going to meet with a vendor for the reception place for the first time. I just want to get the feel of it before we really start diving into it.

I never really looked at any country clubs but I do know about some mansions. There is one in Cedar Hill. I think it is called the mansion on the hill. They include the food and depending upon what package yu choose they do the cakes as well they have a website. I cant find it right now but if you do a search it shoud come up. What area are you trying to do everything. So I can look some things up for you.

I am planning in north dallas. I've seen a few country clubs that I am going to have to call a lil later but so far that is it. Hopefully I will find one I like and if not then I wil try hotels. There are so many out this way that I really wouldn't have to go far. And thanks any help is appreciated!
