Have you thought of wedding insurane ? Here is a sight that has all the info. It is a great idea to be prepared for whatever may happen and not to worry about loosing money or getting stuck in a hard place.

I am entertaining the thought of getting insurance... A co worker of mine got it when she was getting married and her wedding dress was destroyed in a fire. She was able to get reimbursed(what amount,I am not sure) and she was able to get her another dress.

Like I have said several times on CB, I am Paranoid Patty. So I just bought wedding insurance last week. I bought it from wedsafe. Very nice people, but read over your policy once you get it because I had to call three time with corrections.

Keep in mind, wedding insurance doesn't cover if either one of you back out of the wedding. But how many of us are considering that?

I think if it gives you peace of mind, get it. But everyone I know didn't bother. (They also are not getting back up ordained friend like I am just cuz I am paranoid. Not to mention that I am considering having some silk bouquets made up just in case.)

I bought it (Wedsafe insurance) awhile ago. I wanted the peace of mind that if something goes wrong I have some recourse for getting reimbursed for my cash outlay. This stuff is too expensive not to have the insurance in my mind. And, things can and do go wrong at times. I had no problem paying out the cash for this policy. I highly recommend it. :yesyes:

I never considered it. I don't know why, I just couldn't forsee anything that crazy happening? I had contracts with all my vendors so I felt protected if they decided to not honor it.

Yeah, I understand if they decide not to honor it, the contracts are in place. But if there is some ridiculous storm, a car crash, a family member or even me of FH gets sick...that's what it is there for.
